How Can You Tell Your Spouse Is Lying
There are probably several reasons why we lie to our better half. I’m sure a lot of us do tell little white lies to our spouse once in a while. Spouses lie because they do not want to have any confrontations or they might be hiding something from you.
When your better half starts lying to you because they are hiding something, that is the time that a little more detailed digging is required. But before you dig a little bit deeper, be sure that you are prepared to accept whatever you find out.
So, how will you know if your husband or wife is lying to you? One particular method that I often use is I pay close attention to their body language. A person’s body language can tell you a story especially their facial reactions.
How To Tell If Your Spouse Is Lying
* You never have to defend something that is true. So, when your spouse starts to defend something he said, then he just probably made up that excuse.
* During a casual talk about a place that your spouse had been, ask something that you think they should know about. They should be able to answer you without giving much thought to it if their alibi is true.
* While you’re having small talk and you notice that they are starting to tense, as I have said pay close attention to their brows and forehead if they knit or raise their browse.
* There is no greater sign that your spouse is lying when they react with a sudden outburst of anger. Mild irritation can be excused for being tired but anger is a very powerful emotion.
You must remember that these are not fool proof indicators. But once most of these body reactions are present during your casual talk, then most likely, your spouse may be lying to you. So when this happens be sure to keep your cool and just make a note of these observations.
